Moon Planting in the Southern Hemisphere

Moon gardening in Australia 2026. Gardening using the moon cycles specifically for the Australian climate.

LAST UPDATED: 17th January 2026

Today is an exciting day. We have been working on this for a little while now, and so are proud to announce the Official Launch of Our very first web app – the Moon Garden Project.

In a nutshell, this app is basically a guide on the best times for planting and harvesting a wide range of fruits and vegetables, herbs, and medicinal plants.
But it is more than that too. You are able to keep rainfall totals for each day, add your own plants into the Plant Dictionary, keep planting notes in the Journal, and view everything in your own Full Planting Calendar.

The best part though? It is all made so that you do not have to worry about sharing any data with us, or anybody else.
Anything you put in to the app stays on your device.

Then we went one step further, and jammed something even better in it!
As Aussie gardeners ourselves, we know that sometimes, especially out in the gardens, we do not have WiFi connection. Sometimes we do not have any phone service at all!
Our solution? Make this app available offline too.
For this functionality all that is required, is to install the app from the browser to your device. It will work with Smartphones, tablets, and laptops and desktops too.
Even more fantastic – there are no subscriptions, shared data, or anything at all like that. It all stays on your personal device.
